Swimmy

Meet Swimmy!
Swimmy is a one-of-a-kind special needs adult cat with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. He was born with Swimmer Syndrome, and because it wasn’t corrected when he was a kitten, he now struggles with walking. Most of the time he drags himself along, though he surprises us by getting up on all four paws when he can.

What Swimmy may lack in mobility, he makes up for in spirit. He’s incredibly vocal and sassy, always ready to tell you exactly how he feels, and he adores snuggles and attention. He’ll happily curl up with you, purr the day away, and remind you that love isn’t about perfection—it’s about connection.

Swimmy is still working on his litter box habits and will need a patient, understanding family willing to help him succeed. With the right home, this sweet, resilient boy will give back every ounce of care in the form of loyalty, affection, and endless sass.

- Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and considered special needs, Swimmy is ready for adoption. He’s waiting for someone special who sees his worth and wants to give him the safe, loving home he deserves.

Apply to adopt Swimmy at: sunshineanimalrescue.org/adopt

Please note the ''out of town pet'' banner.
