Meet Sweetums! She came into the shelter with her litter after having an unexpected litter. She has been living outdoors with her kits and will need time to adjust to the indoor lifestyle! Sweetums has been friendly an easy to handle since her arrival. They have been around children 5-8 years old and older and are friendly and playful. She has been around other cats and has done well. She does not enjoy the presence of dogs. Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended when bringing a new animal into the home. It can take weeks or months for animals to settle into their new environment, so time and patience are your best tools. It is not recommended to bring a new animal into the home and immediately introduce it to resident pets. Ask a TCHS staff for tips on how to ease the transition. Come meet these Sweetums today!
