Sweetness's Story

Meet Sweetness! She was given her name for a reason; she is so sweet! This girl loves treats, being pet, and human attention. When exposed to other cats, she growls, but does not display aggression. At this time, Sweetness has not been exposed to dogs. Born around June of 2024, she was a young mama. She was a street cat that was probably dumped young and pregnant. She gave birth to her five kittens in a filthy abandoned building. Rescue team members searched for days to find them, then Sweetness finally led them to her kittens. She was the best mama to her babies, and now it is her turn to find the forever home she deserves! No more living on the streets for this girl. Won't you give her the home she deserves? Sweetness was born around June 18, 2024, and is currently being fostered in Waterbury. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.

We adopt to CT residents ONLY. We do not ship our animals. If you are interested in adopting, please send us an application from our website (www.fosterandforever.org) or send us an email (fosterandforever@gmail.com). For the safety of our cats and adopter’s children, families with children under 5 years of age will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. All of our animals are housed at volunteer foster homes. One of the most rewarding ways you can make a difference in the lives of homeless animals is by volunteering to be a foster pet parent. Fostering gets animals out of shelters and unsafe conditions into safe, loving, homes where they can grow and heal until they are ready for permanent adoption. We are always in need of foster homes for cats! Foster and Forever will provide food and litter and cover all veterinary costs; all you need is a safe place and an open heart.
