Sweetie Pie's Story

Adopted! 11/29/04

One More Chance

This sweet cat was found last winter, cold and hungry, crying for help. He is about 6 years old, with a few missing teeth - evidence of the hardships he faced out on his own. He is now very happy and healthy in a warm loving home. Sweetie earned his name because of his desire to please. He is a smart cat with a big heart. He is great with kids and purrs loudly, loves affection and is a wonderful companion. Sweetie wants to be in the room with people and loves attention, yet will not bother anyone or demand anything. Just give him a bowl of dry food and water and he's satisfied. He can be playful and young at heart, yet is mellow and relaxed. Sweetie has two issues in life – first, that he wants to be the only cat in someone's life, and second, that he is FIV positive (for more info on FIV check out http://www.winnfelinehealth.org/health/FIV.html). If you have ever been down and out, then you can relate to this guy. Please consider giving Sweetie a place in your home and in your life. You won't be sorry!

The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. There is a tax-deductible donation of $125 for each adoption that provides for a vet exam, spaying or neutering and initial vaccinations. The Cat Connection may, at their discretion, offer discounts to elderly or disabled adopters.
