Sweetie-Courtesy Post's Story
SWEETIE (bonded with Indy)

Sweetie (and her brother Indy) were rescued as 1-month old feral kittens in May 2024. Sweetie was the shyest kitten and hung back or behind her brother Indy for a number of weeks and then decided getting attention was wonderful. Sweetie is a beautiful torbie girl with the softest coat and (of course) sweetest personality. Once she gets past being initially shy with someone new her personality shines. She seeks attention, being petted, picked up and cuddled. Sweetie likes to “help” scoop the litter boxes, sweep the floors, clean out drawers, and complete other tasks. Her curiosity leads her to check out all activities and be a part of the action. Sweetie likes all of the toys and activities that her brother, Indy, enjoys and she is usually playing right alongside of him. Sweetie and Indy cuddle together in their kitty cup or sleep close to each other. Canned food and treats are tops on her list.

Both Sweetie (and her brother Indy) are very neat with eating as well as using their litterboxes. Both would do great in a home that will give them time to first relax and acclimate to their new surroundings. They have not been exposed to dogs but I feel a cat-friendly dog, properly introduced, would soon be a buddy. They are older kittens but they still need to be supervised to continue learning appropriate/acceptable behaviors. They are still learning what surfaces they can or can’t scratch, climb on as well as what they can or can’t chew, play with or get into.

Sweetie (and her brother Indy) have been s/n, received their DRC and rabies vaccinations, de-wormed, flea treated, found FeLV/FIV negative, and micro-chipped. A home visit is required for their adoption. They must be adopted as a pair; their adoption fee as a pair is $100.00. Please call or text Debbie at 314-608-7520 if you have questions and/or would like to meet Indy and Sweetie.
