Sweetie's Story

Sweetie was found running around on the coldest day of the year! She went to the back door of a family of Good Samaritans meowing for help. She was very skinny and hungry but was very gentle and sweet (earning her name). Sweetie made herself right at home and loves to cuddle and follow you around the house. She's perfect for some who wants a lap cat. Besides your lap, she loves to cuddle in soft blankets and even your legs.

Sweetie did test positive for FIV, probably the result of living as an outdoor cat. Cats with FIV can live long, healthy lives (indoors) and cannot pass this on to humans or dogs. However, FIV can be passed on to other cats by way of a puncture bite wound, so it is recommended that she be the only cat in the home.

Sweetie had her 10 minutes of fame today on "Great Day KC" and she rocked it! She's so chill and "sweet" that the bright lights and cameras didn't faze her at all. But don't worry, her new found fame hasn't gone to her cute lil head and she'd still like to be you "one and only" and now "famous" sweetie pie!

Check out our Sweetie making her first TV debut!

https://fox4kc.com/great-day-kc/

DOB 2/10/2022

If you're interested in Sweetie, we ask that you please fill out a "pre-adopt application" that can be found on our website: https://www.parkvilleshelter.com/adoption-application.
