She originally led a cowgirl life, and was found as a pregnant stray who needed a safe place to raise her little ones. She's now gotten used to being pampered, though, and is ready for a forever home where she can relax in style!<br/>Sweet Tea's finders kept her while she gave birth, and while they found homes for her kittens. In their home, she was around kids and a small dog, and got along well with them. She's certainly been a charmer here at the shelter, quickly lasso-ing the hearts of everyone she meets! Sweet Tea is a very loving and chill cat, who just wants a best friend to spend the day with.<br/>Sweet Tea is litter box trained and has received her first round of vaccinations. Humane Society of the High Plains's Adoption Policy

Adoption Fees Spayed/Neutered Dogs $90 Spayed/Neutered Cats $80 Intact Dogs $90 + $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit. Intact Cats $80 + $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit. A $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit is required for all unaltered animals. Kansas State Law KSA: 47-1701, requires all animals adopted from an animal shelter be spayed or neutered. Lonely Hearts Club Adoption Fees are half-priced for any animal that has been residing at the shelter for at least 30 days. Requirements: You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt. Landlord approval is required. All unaltered animals must be spayed or neutered before a predetermined date. We DO NOT adopt animals as gifts. Ask about our gift certificates. All adoptions must be processed in person at the shelter.
