Sweet Pea's Story
Sweet Pea and Foot were transferred from the Haywood County shelter. They were taken to the shelter after their person was removed from the home to have open heart surgery and the house was to be condemned.

Sweet Pea is underweight and was found to have untreated hyperthyroidism. She is now on medication and is putting on more weight. She is very painful in her hindquarters and would benefit from supplements for arthritis and possibly starting monthly Solensia treatments.

Sweet Pea is very sweet indeed and would love to be in a home where she can be a part of the family. While she and Foot sometimes squabble like many siblings, they have been together their whole lives and we would like to keep them together.
