Svetlana's Story

If nervousness were an Olympic sport, Svetlana would insist she's not competing, but she'd still be clutching her medal a little too tightly just in case. After being abandoned when her owner moved away, Svetlana arrived at the shelter alongside her mom Elena, sister Yuna, and several feline friends, all in need of a second chance. Of the trio, Svetlana is the shyest and most nervous, but beneath that timid exterior is a gentle soul who simply needs patience, kindness, and a quiet place to feel safe. Staff believe she'll thrive in a calm home where she can settle in at her own pace, and she would especially love having a friendly feline companion to lean on for confidence and comfort. Once she learns she's finally safe and loved, Svetlana has all the potential to blossom into a sweet and devoted companion. She's looking for a peaceful home, patient people, and maybe a brave kitty buddy to show her that the world isn't such a scary place after all. If adoption isn't in the cards right now, you can still make a difference by clicking the donate button below Svetlana's profile. It would be pawsitively amazing!
