They have the progressive form, meaning they have a high viral load and are more susceptible to infection or illness. Because he is FeLV+, Sven cannot live with another cat unless it is also FeLV+. <br/><br/>FeLV is not contagious to humans or dogs, but can be transferred to other cats. Annual vet visits, regular immunizations, and your love will help Sven and his siblings maintain a normal, healthy, and happy life.
