Meet Suzanna. Suzanna arrived at a rural shelter in northwestern Minnesota as a very thin stray. She was microchipped and her owners were contacted. Unfortunately, they didn't want her back. Suzanna is around 15 years old, she has been spayed, vaccinated, felv/fiv tested (negative), and her senior blood profile (including thyroid) came back normal. Suzanna just had a dental procedure (no extractions just polishing). Suzanna is on the thin side at 7.5 pounds and will benefit from higher quality dry and canned food to help her put some weight back on. Suzanna is a very affectionate gal and loves catnip toys. She isn't a fan of other cats nor dogs and would love to be your one and only. She is a lap cat. She is always trying to be on your lap or near you. She is a fan of her foster working from home so she can have company and be the star of zoom meetings. Cause For Paws Inc.'s Adoption Policy

The adoption fee for a Cause for Paws cat is $225. There is an adoption application that is completed and reviewed prior to the adoption. This application will ask for a veterinarian reference and we will check this reference prior to an adoption. The application gives us an opportunity to learn more about the potential adopter and whether or not the cat that they are interested in would be a good match. There is also an adoption contract that is completed at the time of the adoption. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, we typically will respond to an inquiry within 24 to 48 hours.
