Susie's Story
Susie is the sweetest 5-month-old little girl. She purrs up a storm with gentle attention from her human friends and doesn't mind being held and cuddled for a little while. She's playful and likes to explore, but when she's feeling a bit nervous she retreats to her safe space full of blankets where she naps with her mom Elly. Susie is a special needs cat because she has an incurable, neurological condition called cerebellar hypoplasia. This causes her to be wobbly and unstable on her legs, but she can still have a full, happy life as an indoor kitty. Certain precautions and adjustments (like blocking stairs) will need to be made so her environment is safe and easy to navigate. If she doesn't get adopted with her mom Elly, she will need a home with a cat companion that she can play and snuggle with. If you're interested in adopting ShuShe, complete an adoption application at queencitycatsvt.org.
