Sushi & Wasabi's Story

Sushi and Wasabi are the snuggly babies you’re looking for. Both babies want to be held, kissed, and cuddled. Sushi comes when you call his name, he demands to snuggle up on you on the bed, he stares into your soul with his big eyes commanding you to love him. Wasabi is the sweetest lady, she wants tons of attention and sleeps on the bed cuddled up with her brother and you!<br/><br/>They get along very well with other cats and dogs. They have total confidence around other animals as long as they have each other. They were born on the island of St. Kitts as stray babies. We took them in and got them on a big pet rescue flight. <br/><br/>The kittens were born in early June 2025. They’ve both been spayed and neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

Operation Git-Meow, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

Operation Git-Meow has adoptable cats and kittens in the greater Washington, D.C. area rescued both locally and from the US Naval Station at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. We have an adoption application that can be downloaded at https://operationgitmeow.com/documents and emailed to operationgitmeow@gmail.com to begin the adoption process. Please check the listings for each cat/kitten to see where they are currently being fostered, if they’re part of a bonded pair, or require a pet companion. We charge a $140 adoption fee ($240 for a bonded pair) which pays, in part, for the veterinary care and transport costs required to rescue cats from Cuba. We only adopt out cats/kittens who have been spayed/neutered and who have been tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia. All adoptable cats/kittens will be microchipped and up to date on their shots. We will always take back one of our adopted cats if the adopter can no longer care for them.
