Susan's Story

Babies having babies

Meet Susan, this beautiful tabby girl. Susan is only about 9 months old, but she has already given birth to and raised six kittens. That means she became pregnant when she was just 4–5 months old herself — still very much a baby.
Susan weighs just 5.3 pounds, yet her tiny body worked overtime to nurse six healthy kittens for two full months. While she did an amazing job, no kitten should have to grow up this fast. When cats aren’t spayed or neutered, young mothers like Susan pay the price with their health, their growth, and their chance to just be kittens.

The good news? Susan has officially retired from the baby-making business and is looking for a home of her very own. A home where she can finally be the playful, carefree kitten she deserves to be.

Susan gets along well with other cats and will easily fit into just about any type of family. She is cuddly and affectionate, with a chill vibe that will smoothly integrate into your home. She deserves the best home possible!

All HHR kittens/cats are located in Lexington, Ky and have been seen by a Veterinarian, spayed/ neutered, micro chipped, combo tested for feline leukemia and FIV, are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and been given dewormer and flea treatment.

Copy this link to submit an application to adopt:
https://form.jotform.com/201076009853149

OR go to *More About Us* to find the link for the application --->

* WE RESPOND TO ALL APPLICATIONS WITHIN 24-48 HOURS, MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER AFTER SUBMISSION IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN OUR REPLY*
