Susan's Story
Meet Susan!

Susan is a mellow three year old female cat looking for a cozy home full of warm snuggle spots and a kindhearted person to give her the gentle affection she so desperately needs. Susan arrived at our shelter after the passing of her previous owner. Sensitive in nature, this sweet girl is quite stressed out in the shelter environment and would take a bit more time and space than the average cat to adjust to her new forever home.

Susan is looking for a calm, quiet home where she is able to lounge about or explore her surroundings with minimal noise and disturbance. She needs a human who is able to let her take her time acclimating to her new home and family before expecting her to show off her sweet, affectionate side.

We do not know if Susan has lived with other cats previously. While we think she shows potential to live in a multi-cat household, we highly recommend a slow introduction to any potential feline family members in her forever home. A slow intro will help ensure that both Susan and her new cat companion feel safe and comfortable as they adjust to each other's presence.

Looking for a sweet but shy cat to give a warm, cozy home to this winter?
