Sura

Sura’s story started with seven tiny kittens and a young mama cat who had been left behind when her owner moved away. She wandered to a neighboring home looking for help and did everything she could to care for her babies, but the situation wasn’t safe. One kitten had already been lost and they desperately needed somewhere safe to go.<br/><br/>Their young mama had been abandoned and was trying to care for seven kittens on her own. When she eventually stopped caring for them, the kittens were left frightened, unsocialized, and essentially feral.<br/><br/>Sura, however, has always seemed to have a little extra courage tucked inside her tiny body. <br/><br/>She is funny, playful, friendly, and brave — the kind of kitten who wants to know what’s going on and isn’t afraid to investigate. She loves to play, has plenty of kitten energy, and has quickly learned that people can mean affection, safety, and fun.<br/><br/>Watching Sura come out of her shell has been such a joy. She has a curious, confident little spirit and seems ready to take on the world - preferably after chasing a toy, climbing something she probably shouldn’t, and making everyone laugh along the way. <br/><br/>Sura would be a wonderful fit for a home looking for a playful, social kitten with a big personality. She’s still young and growing more confident every day, and we think she’s going to become an incredibly fun, loving companion.<br/>Sura is ready for her next adventure, this time with a family of her own to love her every step of the way. <br/><br/>Please note: Sura is still too young for spay/neuter at this time. Their adoption includes a required future spay/neuter through True North Sanctuary, and the adoption will not be considered complete until the procedure has been performed.
