Sunshine is an 11-year-old long-haired calico with a breathtaking coat of orange, black, and white, painted together in a way that makes her truly one of a kind. Petite at just under nine pounds, she has a soft, comforting presence and a deep love for affection--especially face and chin rubs, which are her absolute favorite. Despite her age, Sunshine can be delightfully playful and will happily race through a tunnel, romp with a toy mouse, bat at a wand toy, or roll with some catnip. She also loves "helping" with projects and prefers to be right where you are, keeping close and supervising whatever you're doing. Cozy laps, quiet companionship, and soaking up the sunshine in her cherished catio round out her perfect day.<br/><br/>Sunshine knows exactly what she wants in life. As a cherished senior, she's hoping to be the queen of her household--no other cats or dogs--so she can enjoy all the love and attention for herself. She has a touch of arthritis, as is common in seniors, and some days are more achy than others and on those days, only head petting is allowed.
