Sunny's Story
Being an empty nester is clearly what Sunny has always dreamed of. Once her kittens found their forever homes, her delightful and funny personality emerged.

This little sprite wants to be involved in everything. She likes to snooze in the closet but as soon as she hears a human stirring, she bounds out to assist. If her human walks anywhere near a bed, for example, she will race to get there first so she can flop over on her side with her head upside down, encouraging you to give her lots of pets.
She loves to observe cooking and it's clear that if she could speak, she'd be providing lots of tips and opinions.

She's become very cuddly and firmly believes that all laps were made for her lounging comfort. She would probably do best in a house with adults because she does have a tendency gently bite the top of your head in the middle of the night if she feels you need to know something - like her good bowl not being full enough.

She gets along just fine with other cats (although she likely would prefer to be the boss) as well as dogs. She came into care from the streets and once in a while looks longingly at the door but seems content to be spoiled inside. She's fabulous with her litter box and isn't a big fan of either treats or canned food but definitely does like her kibble. She's a quirky and charming young kitty who deserves to be spoiled and will love you with her whole self in return.

If you're interested in this cat or kitten, please fill out an application rather than send an inquiry. Applicants are processed first come first served and some kittens go fast. You are not obligated to adopt by submitting an application and due to volume, we are not always able to respond to inquiries in a timely manner.

All Diva Pets Rescue cats have been fostered in homes by our volunteers. An application is required prior to meeting our cats in order to help ensure a good fit between adopter and adoptee. You can complete the adoption application at www.divapetsrescue.org. One of our volunteers will get back to you within 48 hours. Please contact us for more information at DivaPetsCatRescue@gmail.com.

All of our cats are spayed/neutered, dewormed, flea-treated, microchipped, and have had all age appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fees are $125 for cats over 1 year old or $200 for 2 adults. Kittens under 1 year old are $150 or 2 kittens for $225. The fee for 1 adult and 1 kitten adopted together is $200.
