Hey there, I'm Sunny, a handsome and friendly male cat with a heart as warm as my fur is fluffy! I've had quite the journey before finding myself here, looking for a forever home.

I used to live the outdoor life, exploring and enjoying the breeze in my long, luxurious coat. But one day, I came home with a little souvenir--a wound on my neck that taught me it's time to retire from the wild adventures. Now, after some tender loving care and a bit of rest, I'm all healed up and eager to find a cozy spot indoors.

All cats adopted from the Boone Area Humane Society are spayed or neutered. They are dewormed, receive vaccines and are microchipped. The adoption process is by appointment, allowing the shelter to provide individualized attention to potential adopters and ensure a smooth experience for you and the cat.

All cats/kittens adopted from the Boone Area Humane Society must be indoor-only animals. We do not allow our cats to be declawed.All animals have been spayed/neutered, have been tested for heartworm/feline leukemia, have had age appropriate vaccinations, been dewormed, is on flea and parasite prevention and has been microchipped.
