SUNKIST & MOONBEAM's Story
Meet Sunkist & Moonbeam — A Gentle Bonded Pair Looking for Their Forever Home

Sunkist and Moonbeam are a beautiful pair of 8-month-old siblings who share a quiet, unbreakable bond. Sunkist, a soft orange tabby and white boy, brings a warm, sunny presence wherever he goes. His sister Moonbeam, with her sleek black coat, is his calm and constant companion—gentle, observant, and full of quiet affection.

These two were sadly abandoned by their previous owner, but despite their rough start, they’ve held onto their sweet and loving nature. They find comfort in each other and spend much of their time curled up side by side, napping, grooming, or simply enjoying each other’s company.

Both Sunkist and Moonbeam are incredibly gentle and quiet. They’re not demanding or high-energy—just soft souls who will thrive in a peaceful home where they can feel safe and loved. Once they trust you, they’ll reward you with soft purrs, slow blinks, and the kind of companionship that feels truly special.

Because of their strong bond, Sunkist and Moonbeam are looking for a home together. Watching their connection is something truly heartwarming—they balance each other perfectly, like sunlight and night.

If you’re looking for a pair of sweet, low-key companions to share your home and your heart, Sunkist and Moonbeam are waiting to meet you. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. Our adoption fee is $100.
