Sunflower's Story

This sweet girl was left behind when her owners moved and a sweet neighbor started caring for her. She made sure that she was fed and had shelter from the elements. Sunflower wanted to be an inside cat and always begged to come in the house. She would follow the nice neighbor to her car when she went to work. Her finder reached out to all the resources she could find and luckily we had the space here for beautiful Sunflower! Now she is looking for a safe and secure home with a family that wants to love her. She is very afraid of dogs because she was chased by dogs a lot when she was left outside, so a home with no dogs would be ideal. She gets along with other cats with the proper introductions. Sunflower appreciates a slow approach but when you do approach her she loves to be pet! She purrs and makes muffins for the people that love on her! <br/>Sunflower is FIV+ but don't let that give you pause on adopting this sweet girl. FIV+ cats can live long, normal, and healthy lives with proper indoor care!
