Sundae's Story

Sundae - Female DOB 3/27/2016 Domestic Short Hair - Brown Tabby

Sundae is as sweet as her name suggests, with a calm, affectionate nature that will melt your heart. She is a favorite among the volunteers. She’s a lovely senior girl looking for a peaceful forever home where someone is around often to give her the love and attention she truly deserves. She was surrendered to us through no fault of her own—her previous family had to move and sadly couldn’t take her with them.

Sundae is a gentle soul who has gained confidence and is truly the queen of our main room. She’s definitely not a fan of other cats and would much prefer to be the only pet in the home. Dogs are also a no for her, but she’d be just fine with older, respectful kids who can understand her need for peace and quiet. She loves to find some papers laying around that she thinks you are working on and just go and spread herself out on them so she can get all of your attention. One of her favorite places to lay is in a special box just for her that we keep on our counter where she wants to be close to everyone. If you walk by her and don't stop to pet her, she will speak out to you as if to say "Hey, I'm here, come pet me". She will talk to you as you talk to her, it is so sweet, she is so sweet.

Sundae is the kind of kitty who would thrive in a mellow home where someone is around most of the day to keep her company. Sundae loves a warm lap to curl up next to and would be perfectly content with a comfy cat tree near a window where she can bird-watch to her heart’s content. She was recently diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome and is currently on daily medication and special dry food to help her body adjust. She does love her wet food which doesn't need to be anything special. Luckily most of her medication she will eat crushed up in a squeeze up paste treat, and otherwise, she is very easy to pop pills into.

If you’re looking for a sweet, loving companion who will truly appreciate a second chance, Sundae might just be your girl.

Please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/All kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian.
