Sully's Story

All interested people should submit an adoption application as their first step. MEET SULLY<3 Sully is a gentle soul who survived three bitter winters as a stray, never knowing the safety of a warm bed or the love of a family. Life was hard, yet he stayed kind; no aggression or hissing. Shy and scared at first, Sully is already learning to trust humans- and when he looks at you with his soft, soulful eyes, it feels hes asking you for the chance he never had. Sully is FIV+, which truly is no big deal- with normal care, he can live a happy, heatlhy life just like any other cat. He would thrive in a home with another FIV+ kitty or as the one and only king of his kingdom, soaking up all the love he's waited so long for. All Sully needs now is someone cat savvy to choose him and show him that love was worth the wait<3 All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped. The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only.
