Sugar / Joy's Story

Sugar is a gorgeous, all white 7.5-year-old girl looking for a quiet and patient home to love her! Sugar was adopted from us as a young cat and recently returned to us with her two kitty housemates after her own could no longer keep her. She was in pretty rough shape but is now feeling a lot better! Her back was severely matted, so it did have to be shaved down, but is starting to grow back. Sugar enjoys pets, but is a bit nervous, and would really benefit from a home where she can relax and go at her own pace. She peacefully coexists with our other older, chill cats, but is always cuddling Joy. Our vet found she has a grade 3 heart murmur and on her bloodwork that her cardiopet (heart value) was elevated, but her chest x-rays and echocardiogram were both normal. She does not currently need any medications and our vets recommended rechecking the bloodwork in June. Sugar and Joy are a bonded pair looking for a home together.
