Meet Sugar Cookie, affectionately known as "Cookie!" Cookie is 3 years old and is as sweet as her name suggests. With her striking green eyes, dainty tabby-and-white coat, elegant long legs, and the cutest little heart-shaped dark nose, she's an absolutely beautiful girl. She's still a kitten, but she has the calm, gentle nature of a cat well beyond her age.<br/><br/>Cookie is one of the gentlest cats you'll ever meet. She loves being held, happily melts into your arms for cuddles, and is perfectly content spending her afternoons stretched out in a warm patch of sunshine. In fact, her favorite hobby is following our gentle senior resident dog from room to room throughout the day as they search for the best sunbeam in the house. Once they find it, they settle in together for a cozy nap. It's every bit as wholesome as it sounds.<br/><br/>While she enjoys playing, Cookie is much more relaxed than most kittens her age. She is patient, affectionate, and wonderfully easygoing, making her an excellent fit for families with respectful children or gentle dogs. Although she isn't interested in living with other cats, she absolutely adores her sister, Shortcake ("Shorty"), and would love nothing more than to find a forever home with her.<br/><br/>Cookie and her sister are litter box experts, and they LOVE people!<br/><br/>Cookie was born around April 1, 2023, and is currently being fostered in Farmington. Once she is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV, she will be available for adoption.<br/><br/>All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved.<br/><br/>Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org.<br/><br/>Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.
