Sugar 's Story

Say hello to our resident catwalk queen, Sugar. This stunner was originally adopted from us when she was a kitten, but recently returned to us after a family member's allergy diagnosis. Sugar has an estimated birthdate of 4/17/23, so she's just 3 years young. Sugar hasn't been with us too long, and the poor thing is understandably scared, and unsure how she ended up at the shelter, but she is doing the best that she can. She is still a little scared, but is very sweet and she seeks attention from people when they are gentle and not overwhelming to her. Sugar is a pretty laid back lady, but her previous owner reports that she will let you know if she isn't a fan of something. She's not a meanie at all, just a young lady who know what she wants out of life. She likes to be brushed, and that's going to be very important for her forever family to take into consideration if you're looking to adopt this gorgeous gal. Sugar has a beautiful coat and it takes work to maintain it and keep it brushed. She has been around other kitties and gets along with them, and seems to be doing well with the kitties that she is housed with at the shelter. In her previous arrangement she seemed to want to be the top cat, and lady in charge. That may not be the case in her new home, or she may carry over that desire to be queen bee in her new home. She would also be a wonderful only kitty. It is reported that she is terrified of dogs, so a home with a dog likely isn't the best arrangement for her. Since Sugar does have some of her own opinions, she will do best with children who are a bit older and can read cues. Would you like to meet the gorgeous, Sugar and give her that permanent forever home that she deserves? If so, please complete an application and once it's approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet.

West Jefferson, Ohio
#hsmcohio

A Petfinder inquiry is not a substitute for an application.
