Sugar's Story

Sugar and her sister Spice were found when they were only three weeks old. They were in need of great deal of care and it looked as though both would make it. However, an intestinal parasite took hold and we lost poor Spice who was a bold, fearless, rambunctious, and incredibly affectionate.

Personality: After losing her sister, Sugar came out of her shell and seemed to take on her sister’s high energy and fearlessness. The once playful but timid Sugar is now everyone’s friend. She warms up quickly. Loves to play hard whenever she’s not napping. She a curious explorer with running faucets as her new fascinations. She comes running to watch the water when she hears the tap turned on. Sugar is also highly cuddly but on her terms. She’s easy to scoop up and hold but only if she’s in the moods for it. As Sugar winds down for any of her many cat naps or bedtime, she will climb onto your lap or into your bed. Sugar loves burrowing under the covers! She’s a smart little girl who can take direction but prefers being distracted by a toy from whatever she was about to get into.
Sugar is an absolute ball of fun and as sweet as… Sugar!

Best home situation:
Sugar is an indoor only cat.
She’s high energy and plays hard so she’ll get along with any other animals or humans who understand her need to run like lightning, leap like a gazelle, and play with everything and everyone imaginable. Even when she looks like she might drop off to sleep, the soul of a jingly toy can have her up and playing again. If you or your current pets can’t be bothered to play several times a day, Sugar may not be a good match.

Snap test: negative
Vaccines: up to date
Spayed: to be scheduled before adoption
Chipping: to be scheduled before adoption

Adoption Fees: $75.00 for one kitty and $50.00 for two.
