Suede was left outside when her owners moved away, but you’d never know it, because she loves people SO MUCH!<br/><br/>She greets strangers with jump pets and head butts and sleeps in between her foster parents with her cheek pressed up against theirs. How sweet is that?!<br/><br/>She’s in a foster home with other cats and tolerates them, but would prefer to be the Queen of the Castle. <br/><br/>We think she is about 10 years old and she’s on special wet food for the early stages of kidney disease, but is otherwise in great health. <br/><br/>She’s in Brooklyn, NY, but I am open to adopters within a 3-4 hour drive of the city. <br/><br/>Please fill out the adoption application below if you’d like to meet her!

Bookstore Cats's Adoption Policy
Filling out an adoption application is the first part of the process. Once the application is reviewed, I will check references and contact the applicant to set up a video interview. During the video the adopter will give me a tour of their living space, so that I can check for solid screens on all of the windows and any potential hazards to the cat. If approved, we will set up a time for them to meet the cat, either by video chat first or in person.
