Subaru

Subaru came to us on May 26th after a Good Samaritan found her and brought her to safety. She arrived with a wound on her right hind leg, which we carefully cleaned and treated with antibiotics. She also had one very unlucky little toe on that same leg that was injured and barely hanging on, so it ultimately needed to be removed.
Like many kittens, Subaru also came down with an upper respiratory infection. Hers was a particularly stubborn one that stuck around for quite a while, but with lots of care and patience, she eventually kicked it to the curb and got back to being her happy, playful self!
These days, Subaru is a girl who knows her boundaries and isn’t afraid to enforce them. Her roommate, Harry, has a tendency to be... well, a lot, and Subaru is more than happy to let him know when he’s crossed the line. She may be tiny, but she has no shortage of sass!
When she’s not keeping Harry in check, Subaru loves to wrestle, play-fight, and generally embrace her inner little wildcat. She’s also an accomplished hunter-in-training and will proudly carry her favorite toys around in her mouth like trophies, making sure everyone knows just how fierce and talented she is.
Subaru is the perfect combination of sweet, playful, sassy, and just a little bit spicy. She may have lost a tiny toe along the way, but nothing has slowed this determined little girl down!
Name: Subaru
Gender: Female/Spayed
Birthday: 3/17/26
Current Location: Southwood Animal Hospital
Minimum Adoption Donation: $100
