Stuffing's Story

If you are looking for a lazy dog stuck in a cat’s body, Stuffing is for you! He loves to sleep! Granted, he’s had a rough life outside and he deserves all the rest he needs. His former owners left him outside when they moved and he was hiding in a garbage alley for several months before neighbors noticed he desperately needed help. Stuffing, appropriately named after being picked up during Thanksgiving, is a sweetheart. If it comes to fight or flight, he will opt for the latter. He’s never hissed or shown any sort of aggression. He is scared of unfamiliar noises at first and will find whatever hidey hole he sees and stuffing himself into it. Pun intended. But once he gets used to his new environment he is just a big potato. He will lounge until you show up and gladly welcome head scratches and body rubs. When he’s happy, he will bless you with his little chirpy meows, greeting you and thanking you for pets. He purrs a lot and loves company, and is low energy so far after a month in foster. He will have short bursts of zoomies and playing with toys, but then happy to cuddle on the couch. He loves cuddling under blankets and will burrow himself into them.

We think he would be happy with another cat friend or as a single cat.

Adoption application form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScL9xXZTcLG4mxXoZiOBU9CrO5Nhzn14-vPTFsAZUcuIw1WKQ/viewform
