Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.<br/><br/><br/>STUART and his siblings (SKY & SAWYER) was saved by an independent rescuer. They came from a mom at a colony in the area South Los Angeles, California. Once the kittens were stable, the rescuer reached out to us. And now they are with our rescue. He is now ready for his FUREVER home!<br/><br/><br/>Meet STUART, a teen with a heart full of adventure. STUART is a curious soul, always on the lookout for new mysteries to unravel. His playful antics are a source of endless amusement, yet he has a mellow side that loves quiet moments. STUART is a smart big fellow, often surprising us with his problem-solving skills. He can be a bit shy at first, but don't let that fool you <br/><br/><br/>STUART's braver than most. His independent streak is balanced by his goofy charm, making him the perfect companion. STUART's skittish nature just adds to his appeal, as it's a joy to watch him slowly gain confidence. Why should you adopt STUART? Because his unique blend of traits promises a journey full of laughter, love, and learning.<br/><br/><br/>STUART is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TABBY MIX. He is about 1 year and 3 months old. He is good with cats and is non-reactive to dogs. He has never been around children. <br/><br/><br/>STUART is currently located at our rescue in Hemet, California.<br/><br/><br/>ADOPTION PROCESS:<br/><br/>1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)<br/>2. Fill Out Online Form<br/>3. Submit Online Application<br/>4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview<br/>5. Will be notified of Approved Application<br/>6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)<br/>7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty<br/>8. Sign Adoption Contract<br/>9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)<br/>10. Take the Kitty Home<br/><br/><br/>********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP**********<br/><br/><br/>The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET and GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below: <br/><br/><br/>****Please note we only have cats physically in MURRIETA and INDUSTY ONLY. Gas donations always appreciated!<br/><br/><br/>************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one is available to take calls. ************<br/><br/><br/>If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.<br/><br/><br/>Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.<br/><br/><br/>We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.<br/><br/><br/>STUART is ALREADY fully vetted. <br/>The adoption fee of $200 covers: <br/><br/><br/>Neuter<br/>FVRCP shots<br/>RABIES shot<br/>FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)<br/>Drontal Dewormer<br/>Stronghold Flea Control<br/>Microchip<br/><br/><br/>We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
