Stripes's Story

Meet Stripes! She is a 1-year-old brown and white shorthaired tabby who came to us from a home that had more cats than could be properly cared for. Since arriving at the shelter, she’s been a nervous little lady, understandably taking her time to adjust to all the new sights, sounds, and routines. Stripes will need a patient, gentle adopter who understands that settling into a new environment may take time and is willing to let her move at her own pace.

Because her previous home situation was overwhelming, Stripes may need extra support as she learns what’s expected of her in a calmer, more structured setting. With consistency, quiet reassurance, and plenty of space to feel safe, she has the potential to become more confident and comfortable. We look forward to learning more about Stripes as she continues to decompress, and we’re hopeful she’ll blossom in a home that offers her the patience and understanding she deserves.

She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives.
If you have further questions, please call the shelter at (517) 626-6060 or email our adoption staff at adoptions@AdoptLansing.org.
