Striker (Neutered) (Photos 1/10/2026)

Striker is a cute male kitten who was surrendered by his owner on September 30, 2025 along with several other kittens because the family had too many cats and was unable to give them the care that they so desperately needed. <br/><br/>Unfortunately five of the kittens passed away soon after being brought to our shelter. Thanks to the loving care of our HSOV Kennel Techs, Striker survived in addition to seven of his siblings/housemates (Agent Two, Beelzebub, Millie, Loona, Mammon, Oz, and Verosika).<br/><br/>Striker has a buff short smooth coat in a marbled tabby pattern, a long ringed tail, and a beautiful kitten face with golden eyes, a pink nose, and long white whiskers.<br/><br/>Striker was estimated to have been 5-weeks old when he entered our shelter. He was given vaccinations on October 18, 2025. Striker was given booster vaccines on November 6th and November 22nd 2025. He weighed 4 lbs on November 22nd.<br/><br/>These photos were taken on January 10, 2026 when HSOV kennel tech Madison Lee assisted Striker with his 'big boy' photos. Striker was quite the entertainer and gave us his 'prairie dog' impersonation when Madison introduced a ribbon teaser toy during his photo session. This little playboy turned out to be the star of the show and had the cutest facial expression while was batting the ribbon around his his tiny paws. <br/><br/>Striker is good with children and also with other cats/kittens. <br/><br/>Striker will be neutered (tentative in February 2026) before being adopted by his new family (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be finalized).<br/><br/>Update: Striker was neutered on January 22, 2026 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 6.7 lbs that day.<br/><br/>Striker was adopted on January 23, 2026.
