Striker Doyle's Story

Hi! My name is Striker, and I am a black-and-white short haired boy born on 4/22/2024 who is ready to find my forever home! I have a very sweet and unique personality and still have all the playful energy and curiosity of a kitten. I can be a bit vocal, especially when I see my people — I have the cutest squeaky meow, and I often trill happily when you pet me. I love being around humans as much as possible and can be a cuddly little love bug as long as I get plenty of playtime to burn off my kitten energy.

I warm up to people very quickly (especially if they bring toys or food!). I truly enjoy human companionship and love to be wherever my people are. I’m not sure yet how I feel about kids or other animals, as there are none in my current foster home, but I am very gentle by nature, so I likely would do great with proper introductions.

I’m a little wobbly and wonderfully quirky. I sometimes hop like a bunny when going upstairs and may flop over when jumping down from higher places. My back legs occasionally have a mind of their own and try to go in a different direction than the rest of me — but I don’t let that stop me one bit! I just move through life with a little extra personality and charm.

Playing is one of my favorite things to do! I LOVE chasing wand toys, batting around balls, and sneak-attacking my toys from behind tunnels or pillows. My wobbles barely slow me down — I am determined to have fun no matter what! When exploring new spaces, I may meow loudly at first, but that quickly turns into soft little mews and happy trills once I settle in. I'm also great at helping you with your desk job - check out my video!

I am very curious and like to explore open rooms and cabinets. My wobbles sometimes cause me to be a bit clumsy. I would do best with a covered litter box to help with my balance and keeping things tidy.

I have the softest fur, love rolling around and stretching first thing in the morning, and I am a big fan of belly rubs.

I would be a perfect fit for a person or family who has the time and space to play with me, give me lots of love and snuggles, and remind me often what a good, sweet, silly boy I am. If you’re looking for an affectionate, playful, and truly special companion, I just might be your guy.

If you see a kitten or cat you are interested in, submit an online adoption application by copying and pasting this link: https://www.coloradofelinefosterrescue.org/applications-availability, into your browser, then clicking the "APPLY NOW" button. (You may also apply to pre-qualify to adopt while you're waiting to find your purrfect companion.) Paperwork is completed via email. If you have a question at any time during the adoption process, feel free to email us at info@coloradofelinefosterrescue.org. Our adoption fees can be found on our website, www.coloradofelinefosterrescue.org All kittens/cats are vaccinated, dewormed, neutered/spayed and microchipped prior to adoption.
