Stitch's Story
Stitch is a cat who spent far too long living on his own, surviving as a stray with a painful, badly damaged eye and no one to rely on but himself. Life on the streets taught him to be cautious, but it never took away his gentle heart. When he was finally trapped and brought to Community Cat Alliance, everything began to change. Stitch was neutered and received the medical care he desperately needed, including surgery to remove his injured eye. While losing an eye sounds scary, it turned out to be a turning point—he is now pain-free, comfortable, and thriving. For the first time, Stitch could relax without hurting.

Today, Stitch is a completely different cat. He is a lover at heart—sweet, calm, and affectionate once he feels safe. He enjoys gentle attention and quiet companionship and would make a wonderful indoor-only cat. Because of his past, he still needs patience and understanding as he continues to build trust, but every day he shows just how loving he wants to be.

Stitch is looking for that special person or family willing to give him time, kindness, and a peaceful home where he can finally feel secure. In return, this one-eyed boy will give soft purrs, quiet devotion, and a whole lot of love. He’s been through so much—and now he’s ready for his forever home.

For more information or an application, you can contact Sheila by texting or calling 217-260-6979 or emailing communitycat1@gmail.com.
