Sticky Note is a sweet and affectionate kitten, he loves people he enjoys being held. He is just an all around sweet and cuddly boy. Sticky Note gets along with all of the cats in his community room, he makes friends with everyone. He is not an over the top rowdy kitty, he is playful but also will relax and just let you hold him. All of our animals are rescued and transported from South Mississippi where major animal overpopulation means less homes. We only transport them once adopted, in most instances, we can be available for a video call once an application has been approved. *** Transport will meet adopters in Brattleboro, VT *** WE PERSONALLY TRANSPORT OUR OWN adopted animals to meet their new families. We transport every 2-3 weeks. We facilitate adoptions through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, VT, and NY. Our dogs travel in comfort with 24/7 care. We have been facilitating long distance adoptions since 2019. ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. We rescue animals from different situations. We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible. *** We are currently unable to adopt pets to ME and RI residents

Dixie Adoptables's Adoption Policy

Our Adoption Process: Our goal is to match the right pet with the right adopter. 1. Once we receive the completed application, we will call your vet references, personal reference, and landlord (if applicable). 2. Once you get an approval, we will set up a time for a phone call and typically can offer a video call with the potential animal. 3. All adoptions will be finalized and fees collected prior to the transport of your new family member. Adoption fees will not be refunded if you simply change your mind. We only hold an animal for adoption once a deposit has been paid or the full adoption fee has been paid. 4. We will coordinate with you to transport your new pet to one of our many transport destinations if you are not a local adopter. **We reserve the right to refuse an adoption**

Dixie Adoptables is a 501(c) (3) non-profit animal rescue. We are a rescue, not a shelter, and as such we do not have our animals housed in one location – they are in foster homes. Founded in 2008, we are committed to rescuing, caring for, and adopting homeless dogs and cats into loving and responsible homes.
