Apply for the chonky girl of your dreams ? Stevie is looking for a place to call home. After being surrendered to the shelter when her owner was suspected to have gone homeless, Stevie became extremely sick and was looking for rescue placement. We pulled her back in January (she’s all better now) and somehow, despite how perfect she is, she’s still looking for her forever people. Stevie is estimated to be 10yo, but she’s still very young at heart. She loves people, and especially loves laying on any part of your body that is available, even if you just bend over to pick something up — she will climb on your back and make herself comfy there. She’s so friendly and so sweet, but she has a little sassy side when she gets overstimulated, which mostly includes some love bites. <br/><br/>She is truly the most perfect cat you could ask for — and as much as I wish she could stay, I need her to find a home that makes her happy — and not one that causes her stress with cats that bully her. My cats have been really mean to her, and it’s unfortunately caused some bad blood here, especially in my small rancher house with 6 other cats. Prior to them being brats, she did well with other cats, but she will defend herself if provoked. That being said, I’m looking for a home for her either as the only cat or with 1-2 other calm/older cats who won’t bother her much. She loves dogs as well. <br/><br/>She’s in good health — was previously spayed, is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, tested FIV/FELV negative, blood work was good when checked a couple months ago, no heart issues (was tested as vets heard a murmur, but it was just caused by stress of being at the vet).
