Sterling's Story

Sterling is a female, gray Tabby/Domestic Short Hair cat. Her estimated date of birth is February 1, 2021. Sterling is a gorgeous girl with a soft, plush coat and an even softer spot for quiet living. She’s a calm, independent girl who enjoys the simple things in life: a cozy cat tree, a sunny window, a high perch to supervise from, and a peaceful home where she can relax in comfort.

She’s not much for toys or chaos and would much rather spend her day lounging nearby than joining in on the action. Sterling is a reserved companion who takes her time getting comfortable, and she’ll need a patient adopter who understands that trust is earned slowly. She may keep to herself at first, but once she feels safe, Sterling has a sweet and affectionate side all her own. She loves curling up beside her person at night for quiet companionship and will happily remind you breakfast is due with soft chatter, head nudges, and the occasional gentle love nip.

Sterling would thrive in a calm, low-traffic home without young children or busy pets. She would likely do best as the only animal in the home, though she may tolerate another quiet, easygoing cat with proper introductions.

Sterling came to rescue after her previous owner passed away, and she’s ready for a second chance with someone who will give her the patience and stability she deserves. In return, she’ll offer quiet loyalty, gentle companionship, and a comforting presence.

Sterling is fully vetted and has an adoption fee of $90. You can apply online for her at https://arftulsa.wufoo.com/forms/arf-cat-adoption-application/ PLEASE READ ALL REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO APPLYING.

Note: ARF reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care. We do not ship our animals. All adopters are expected to come to Tulsa if approved.

For details on how to adopt please visit http://www.arftulsa.org/adopt.

Our Mission
For more than 25 years, ARF has been helping homeless pets of the Tulsa area find loving homes. We do this by rescuing homeless animals out of area shelters that were possibly in line for euthanasia, placing them in foster homes, providing their comprehensive veterinary care, and finding suitable adoptive homes.
