Meet Sterling, a good looking tuxedo guy who was lost or likely abandoned and found by one of our own Second Chance volunteers! After posting and trying to find a possible owner, the volunteer sought medical treatment for him as he had a big leg wound. Once that healed, she was able to transfer him to Second Chance for the opportunity to find a forever home.<br/><br/>While in temporary care with the volunteer, she discovered he was super affectionate, loving to lay in bed right next to her. Sterling enjoys pets and is especially fond of ribbon and wand toys. He would also never say no to catnip. Sterling likes kisses and shows his affection by head rubs. Sterling means "of excellent quality" and we couldn't agree more! He is one of the most photogenic cats we have, sporting a very distinguished look.<br/><br/>Sterling could be an only cat and would likely relish being spoiled as an only but he may also do okay in a multi-cat home of friendly cats not interested in a friend. Sterling would flourish in a home on the quieter side, a home where they want a couch or bed buddy. This home will likely be a single adopter, couple, or possibly a family home with older respectful kids. Sterling is all about giving and receiving affection and once he knows he is yours, there is no letting go!<br/><br/>Sterling has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Sterling has an approximate birthdate of 11/17/2022. His adoption fee is $95.<br/><br/>If you are interested in Sterling or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.<br/><br/>Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.
