Stellaluna's Story

Stellaluna is 3 year old (DOB 8/20) shorthaired black female. She needs time to get used to new people, but once she trusts you, she will be your best buddy. Doesn't like to be held much but loves to be pet and will occasionally sleep with you or lay in your lap. She can be a little skittish with loud noises or fast movements, so we think she would do best in older children/no children homes, or even by herself. She does fine with dogs, loves to play with and chase her siblings, especially Chase. All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, microchipped, and current on revolution. No declawing. Indoor homes only. If pet is still listed, he/she is available so please do not ask if available. Rescue Angels of Southern Maryland, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

Please complete an adoption application (non-binding and no guarantee for adoption) and email to rescueangelssomd@gmail.com or mail to PO Box 51, White Plains, MD 20695. Once your application has been approved, a meet and greet will be scheduled. Potential adopters can take their new family member home after a meet and greet and the Rescue deems the family a good fit for the pet. Home visits required. Indoor homes only. No declawing for cats. Adoption fees cover vet care including spay/neuter, FeLV/FIV or 4DX heartworm/tick disease testing, microchip, rabies vaccine, DHLPP or FVRCP vaccinations, deworming, and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Adoptions out of the Southern MD area are considered on a case by case basis and only within a 100 mile radius.
