Stella's Story
Courtesy-Post: Stella

Stella's story is one of heartbreaking loss and extraordinary resilience. Abandoned and left to survive on her own, she endured hunger, fear, and all the dangers that come with life outdoors. During that time, Stella gave birth to kittens — but in a tragic twist of fate, she was born without nipples and couldn't nurse them. She suffered the unimaginable grief of losing every one of her babies. She was rescued by an older woman who showed her kindness and gave her a place to live, safe from the dangers of life outside. However, this compassionate woman sadly is now suffering from dementia and has been unable to properly care for her pets. Stella was recently discovered to be living in her dark basement, malnourished, terrified, and unsure whether humans could be trusted once again.

But with patience, kindness, and gentle care in her foster home, she has begun a remarkable transformation. Where she once hid all day, she now ventures out, explores her space, and is slowly learning that people can be kind. Stella is still on her healing journey, and she needs a home that understands that love can't be rushed. Stella is a beautiful tortie with a strong will to survive. Could you be the one to give her the furever home she longs for?

Stella has been fully vetted and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. TTR will provide a microchip as a courtesy to the person who adopts her into their home. If you have any questions about Stella, please contact us at ttr.adopt@gmail.com.
