She has spent most of her life as the shy girl, but this past year she has become a little more social, curious, sometimes enjoying being in the area with us when we clean, and even enjoys a few head scratches on occasion. She is 6+ years old and has been with us since she was a baby, she came in with Stuart. She is looking for a calm adult home where she can lounge, window watch, and enjoy soft blankets. Stella gets along with all the friendly, calm cats. She's quiet, and very easy to have around. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. C.A.R.A (Citizens for Animal Rescue and Adoption)'s Adoption Policy

Please email citizensanimalrescue@gmail.com for an application or use our online link. Once an application is approved you will be contacted to set up an appointment to visit the animals. If you let us know what you have in mind (age, gender, personality), we'll have several ready to meet. We are open to the public Monday-Saturday 1-4PM and other times by appointment. Please call 217-655-4353 or 217-799-8858 with any questions. After you've met and decided on the pet for you, you will fill out the final paperwork and you will be able to take your pet home. All adopters must be able to meet and pick up their pet as we do not offer transportation, or handle all the details for a transport and be able to pay over the phone. All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.

C.A.R.A. is a 501(c)3 non-for-profit, No Kill animal shelter and rescue for homeless, injured/neglected or surrendered animals. Through community donations we are able to provide high quality care and rehabilitation for animals in our care.
