Stella's Story

Stella and her brother Haru were rescued from an impoverished community in Mexico during a trap neuter return campaign. When local rescuers picked them up they realized that Haru had an eye infection and would need treatment right away. Realizing that he'd heal faster with company, it was decided that Stella would accompany him on his healing journey and neither were returned to the community as originally planned.
The pair is bonded and can only be adopted together. Both are talkative and a bit shy but eager to make new friends. Ideally their new family would have a good amount of time to spend with them to help them finish coming out of their shells.
It is very hard to find good homes locally in Mexico which is why they were transported to Northern California in hopes of giving them a better life.

Interested in welcoming this duo into your family?
