STASHE's Story

Meet Detective Stashe, Feline P.I. — solving crimes, stealing hearts, and rocking one incredible mustache.

This 3-year-old gentleman showed up on the scene with a mysterious past and a face that says “I’ve seen things… mostly treats being opened.” His mustache alone got him his name — because once you’ve got facial hair that distinguished, you’re basically required by law to become a private investigator.

Stashe has one mission in life: The Case of the Missing Forever Home.
He’s been running undercover operations in his foster home — befriending cats, dogs, and even bunnies (sources say he’s deeply embedded in the bunny community). Though he’s cautious with new humans, give him time and he’ll be your loyal partner in stakeouts, snacks, and snuggles.

When he’s not on duty, Stashe enjoys playing with foster kittens, lounging in cozy hideouts, and dramatically appearing at mealtime the second his foster mom rattles the food. He insists he’s “just following a lead,” but we know better.

Stashe is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative. If you’re looking for a low-key, mustachioed gentleman to help you solve life’s greatest mysteries (like who knocked over that glass of water), then Detective Stashe is on the case — and ready to move in.

Email us at PetRescueOfMercer@gmail.com to arrange a meet & greet or to learn more!

Applicants must live within 60 minutes driving distance of Hamilton, NJ to be considered. A vet check will be conducted for each application and a solid vet history for current and past pets will be verified.
