Starla's Story

Starla came to us as an owner surrender so the owner could tend to their health. The owner grew increasingly concerned as they tried to find a place for their kitties to go as the roommate stated that if no placement was found, they would put the cats outside.

Starla was orginally a stray that found solace at the previous owner's home. She was pregnant and bore a litter of 5 kittens but one passed. All the other kittens were rehomed but Bonez remained a part of the family. He has grown up with his mom into adulthood. Starla is a sweet, sweet girl; she enjoys naps, watching the other rescue cats play, and spendign time with her people. Starla has the best stretches when she wakes up from naps. Caution; her cuteness might make your heart explode.

Starla had a litter of kittens in the last 3 months birthing 5 kittens. One was rehomed prior to entering rescue but the other 4 were also brought to us with Starla and Bonez. In total, Starla lived with 6 other cats in the home, all her offspring. Starla was spayed Oct 1 and had a rough recovery but she did eventually bounce back and is doing beautifully now.Our adoption process is simple, relationship-centered, and provides supportive education. You can expect your adoption interest to go like this:
1. Submit your electronic form
2. An AEL representative will contact you to schedule a phone call or adoption counsel session.
3. Come to your adoption counsel session to meet the pet you're interested in and ready to take them home with you (dependent on the pet, some need more than one meet)
4. If the pet is determined to be a good fit with your family by both you and the AEL representative, you will sign your contract, submit your adoption payment, and take your new friend home!

Let us know you're interested here: http://tinyurl.com/AELadoptionsquad
