Star Tortoiseshell Manhattan, KS

This pretty lady has been waiting far too long for her own special purrson! Once she's decided you're an ok sort of human, she loves to be pet and will give you lots of kisses in return. She likes to hang out where her human is and check out what you're doing, and once you settle in somewhere for a break - or go to bed, she just might come lie down beside you. She may be a more mature girl who loves her comfy spots with a window view, but she loves her play time, too (just don't remind her that it's part of her diet!) and often has bouts of the zoomies, racing around, pretending to be chased. Star has lived with other cats in the past and could probably do fine with the right cat, as long as she has her own space, but she would love a home where she could be the center of attention!

Star is sweetly affectionate - but only on her terms. She is an opinionated kitty, especially when it comes to how she's handled, and will definitely let you know if she doesn't like something; she would do best in a home without little kids. She has her little quirks, but nothing an experienced cat-person can't handle, and once you get to know each other she is a real sweetheart. Your patience will be richly rewarded with a little doll of a cat with a big tortie personality. And wouldn't she be just lovely curled up on your couch, or perched on one of her favorite window seats?

All kitties go to their new owners spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. The adoption fee is $60, but thanks to a generous donor and former foster mom, a portion of her adoption fees have been covered.
