Meet Stanley! Stanley is very confident big boy with bright green eyes and brown jaguar coat who loves to watch over his home and show the full range of his big personality from observant watch cat to sweet lap lover who craves all the snuggles and behind the ear/under the chin rubs. He will run right up to you and climb onto your chest for love as he is very adoring. Stanley is a typical younger brother who can be both cuddly and kind and also antagonizing when he wants to be playful. Stanley likes to be held like a baby and loves to receive kisses. Stanley would do great with children and other cats and will have you laughing every day.

SELECTING THE RIGHT COMPANION ANIMAL Love at first sight! This is how our new companions usually get chosen. Thoughtful consideration must also be taken. Some dogs need lots of room to run. If you do not already have a fenced in yard, consider the cost of a suitable fence. If a fence is not possible do you have time for long walks? Long haired animals need a lot of brushing. Do you have time for this? Some may also require professional grooming. Can you pay for this? Younger animals will need training, which will involve substantial investments of both time and money. Please also consider who will be sharing your home with your new companion. A home with elderly people may not be the right fit for a large, high energy dog. A home with very young children may not be the right fit for very young puppies or kittens. Do you have other pets in your home? We test our shelter animals for general compatibility but recommend that if you have existing pets a “meet and greet” be set
