Stan is a gentle soul with a big heart, who could be a perfect companion if given room to gain his confidence and continue coming out of his shell. <br/><br/>He is a very shy and timid boy, who is reluctant to trust humans after spending his early years living on the streets. However, when shown kindness and with the help of his fellow kitty companions he has been finding his voice (quite literally!). Stan is very chatty and has the most adorable range of meows that he uses to tell you what he wants - friends, food, treats, or pets and scratchies. And boy does he love pets and scratchies!<br/><br/>Stan prefers to quietly observe from the comfort of his cat tree or his closet cubby. He is not very playful or active, but every now and then will surprise you with a pounce and is very tolerant when his foster kitty siblings try to play with him. <br/><br/>Stan is not the kind of kitty who will snuggle up on your lap all day or play with you for hours on end. But he will show affection in his own unique way. He is a litter box hero and is not very picky about food or treats. He's just a laid back guy looking for another cat companion or two and a human to shower him with kindness and give him a chance to blossom. <br/><br/>Stan also has a heart murmur and will need regular vet checkups yearly or more often as advised by a vet.
