Stacy's Story

Stacy was found as a stray, so we don't know too much about her. Our vet estimates she is two years old, and she has had all her vet care. Prior to her move to a foster home, she didn't seem fazed by the other cats in her room at the shelter and enjoyed spending her daily out-of-cage time sleeping on the cat tree or watching the birds and squirrels at the feeder. With a proper introduction, she may do well with a feline friend. Stacy has been in a foster home for a few weeks now and her foster says "she is a lovebug and a lap cat." She loves to follow her person from room to room.

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application at https://www.medfieldshelter.com/adoption-forms/cat.

If you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption application. We offer same-day adoptions, so if the cat is a fit, you can take them home the day of your meeting.

If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours.

All adoption meetings are by appointment only. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.
