Stack's Story

ALEXA is a female not yet spayed medium hair black/brown subtle tabby kitten, born about mid-July 2025. She was rescued (with Alexi) as stray kittens by a kind person, then relinquished to YAPS early September when the rescuer couldn't afford to keep them. We find her to be friendly, inquisitive, & playful. Shel likes being petted, & accepts being held - until she wants down to play

Yucaipa Animal Placement Society's Adoption Policy

The adoption fee includes spay or neuter surgery, vaccines and a microchip for dogs and cats. We do a thorough assessment of the animal’s temperament and needs so that we can find both them and you the companion of a lifetime. Our goal is to adopt out pets into permanent, loving homes. The YAPS Team is here to help you choose a pet that will fit in with your lifestyle and bring harmony to your home. YAPS does not currently offer transport for adopters outside of our surrounding area. Adopters must adopt a pet in person at our facility or adoption events.

Yucaipa Valley Animal Placement Society is a no kill, nonprofit animal rescue that strives to prevent the euthanasia of dogs and cats in shelters throughout the region by providing them a temporary safe haven until a permanent loving home can be found.
